Western / Reining in Massachusetts

Massachusetts packs a surprising amount of riding into a small state: forested hills in the Berkshires at one end, centuries-old bridle paths and coastal trails at the other. Guest ranches run scenic trail rides, academies teach across disciplines, and professional boarding and training barns fill the ground in between. State parks, forests, and historic town greenways keep public trail access alive, even a few coastal stretches let horses through.

The western end of the state rides biggest.
