  We have been coming here for over five years for riding lessons. The instructors are the best around and they are building a new structure. I highly recommend.

  Someone at work recommended this place to me, so I decided to give it a try. I’m completely new to horse riding and was excited to learn something new. Unfortunately, my experience here was very frustrated due to the lack of communication and poor “customer service”. As a beginner, I expected some level of guidance or explanation regarding basic rules, safety, and procedures. However, during my first few visits, I often felt lost and unsure of what to do. While there is a written guide available, it doesn’t fully address the questions a beginner might have — especially around absences, billing, and scheduling. I repeatedly reached out to Emma (who I believe she deals with administrative stuff) for clarification, but every interaction I had with her — whether in person, by phone, or by email — was unpleasant. Her attitude consistently came across as dismissive, and unfriendly, which made the entire experience frustrating. Even after I was involved in a car accident and provided to share documentation, she declined to review it and mentioned it was fine as long as it was before 48 hours. I was supposed to schedule my classes - absences which nobody walked me through. (Yes it says in the guide but even the guide is confusing). Every time I would’ve ask her about something she had an attitude. It’s unfortunate because my instructor, Kennady, was absolutely wonderful. She’s kind, patient, and truly passionate about what she does. Her professionalism and care stood out in an otherwise disappointing experience. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The lack of clear communication and poor customer service overshadowed what could have been a great learning opportunity. I would rather pay more elsewhere for a program that values its clients and provides better support and again this is not about the money, abscense classes, or classes. I am not even claiming that. This is about my experience here that was frustrating and her (Emma) attitude towards “customer service”.

  Best place for horse riding lessons in Metro Detroit! Nice and clean facility and they maintain an environment where you are treated like family. We have made so many new friends and connections from Windermere and we are so grateful. Thank you Jen and team for all that you do!

  My girls had a great time with thier Girl Scout troop. Learned a lot.
