  Would definitely recommend!! All of the staff we encountered, from the owner to the volunteers and trail guides/wranglers, were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The trail guides made certain throughout the ride that everyone in our group was comfortable and were not having any issues along the way (like making adjustments to riding equipment if needed, and asking everyone if they were ok). They made light conversation and provided interesting facts during our trek. Our horses were beautiful(!) and appeared to be well cared for and well kept (ex: guides instructed us to lean forward or back when going up and down hills for the comfort and safety of the horses, horses were clean and seemed to be well fed, etc.). I rode on Al Capone, who is georgeous and mild mannered - very easy to ride). The ambiance of the woods, river, and wildflower covered fields made for a fun, pretty, peaceful, relaxing walk. Overall, we had a great time and are planning to go back for a glow in the dark ride and again in the fall when the leaves change. Thank you Pine River Stables for a great morning! Looking forward to our next visit!

  My daughter (9) and I went on our first ride at pine river stables! It was phenomenal! The trails were pretty muddy from all of the rain and I was a bit nervous on my horses. It is a good experience up and down hills, it was really awesome to see the horses take a drink while we were on them. Dan and Sadie were wonderful guides! I can't wait until my younger daughter turns 8 so she can start riding! We will defined be back!

  It was a fun, relaxing ride! Very enjoyable! The girls that were the guides were knowledgeable and fun! Horses were well behaved and knew the trail! I would do this again!

  Took my 10 year old for her first horseback riding experience and she had THE BEST TIME !! She was scared at first so they gave her a lead and one of the instructors stayed by her side the whole time talking her through every step! Including recommend this place more and we will definitely be back !
