  Highly recommend Sandy Bottom Trial Rides! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and prioritized riders' safety. The equine all seemed healthy and were happy to do what they do. The views of the mountains were spectacular. We did the 3 hour gemstone ride, and while the cave is sectioned off for safety reasons, we found some really neat gems to take home. We met the owner at the end and enjoyed learning about their family's history - they've been hosting trail rides for 29 years! We are glad we visited!

  Some of the most beautiful views on the trails. Thank you again Sandy Bottom. Cant wait to visit again! Place was so nice and everyone from when you pull in till you drive away was so friendly and made our first time riding relaxing! Ask for Milton. He was very nice and took some photos of us on the ride!

  My husband and I went on a 2 hour trail ride and had the best time. I had horses as a teenager and have been riding since I was a kid, but he’s only ridden a few times. They gave us each a manageable horse that suited our skill level and body type/size. They also allowed us to postpone our ride when I woke up with a horrible migraine the day our original ride was scheduled for. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they take pride in what they do and the care they provide for their animals. We’ve ridden on beaches, in the mountains of Wyoming, and on basic trails, and this company was one of our favorites overall as far as the staff, condition of the horses, trail difficulty, and scenery were concerned. We’d absolutely book with them again (especially at the fair prices they charge)!

  This was quite a drive into the unknown. About 45 to an hour drive away from town is this little place called Sandy bottom trail rides. I believe this is family owned. The gentlemen who ran this place were very sweet. I don’t remember anybody’s names, but there was an older gentleman who was very nice and kindly shared space with me in the living room while we escaped the cold breeze. He helped me onto my horse poncho, and when I had come back from my trail ride, he spoke with me kindly about my experience, encouraged me to go pet the other horses and was overall very sweet. The young gentleman who took me on my horse ride, spoke when spoke spoken to, but mostly sat on his phone. I didn’t mind this too much as I didn’t come to be social. I just wanted to see the views and enjoy horses. So I had a very lovely time in the silence of nature and being surrounded by fresh air. 🖤 UPDATE: I can’t remember the gentleman’s name but I want to say it was Travis or something to the extent. He hadn’t been working there long, only about 5 months. My trip to yalls trail was about a month ago. The morning of February 21st 2026. He was a young fellow. A relative of a brother who had married into the family I believe.
