  We had the most incredible getaway at Cataloochee Ranch! From the moment we began planning our trip to the beautiful craftsmanship and thoughtful details found throughout the lodges, every part of our stay exceeded our expectations. The ranch offers breathtaking mountain views and so many wonderful activities to enjoy. We loved exploring the hiking trails, experiencing the exceptional dining, and making unforgettable memories on our horseback ride. A special thank you to Fatima for making the booking process seamless and for helping arrange the amenities that made our stay even more special. Hannah and Jordan welcomed us with such warm hospitality during check-in, making us feel right at home from the start. Angella provided outstanding breakfast service each morning, and Ethan and Matti made our horseback riding experience truly memorable with their knowledge, kindness, and genuine passion. We can't say enough wonderful things about our experience at Cataloochee Ranch. Every member of the team helped create a stay we'll never forget, and we're already looking forward to planning our next visit!

  Visited for dinner on bbq night and it was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive and first class! The structure itself is rustic yet refined and architecturally stunning. We had cocktails before dinner which were original and delicious. The BBQ buffet consisted of smoked brisket, homemade smoke brats, smoked chicken and pulled pork - all smoked to perfection and melted in your mouth. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the amazing grilled peach and fennel salad and potato salad. Do not skip dessert! The peach-berry crisp sizzles in a cast iron skillet and is incredible. The chocolate "tarts" were so delicious. The scenery is magnificent with the majestic Smokey Mountains all around. It was just a phenomenal feast with spectacular views.

  We are local to the area so have never stayed at Cataloochee, we have had dinner there many times incliuding the "cowboy cookouts". Yesterday we went for brunch for first time, it was excellent. Red Flannel Hash was delicious, Eggs Benny and fantastic desserts. I understand they have a new pastry chef...outstanding cheesecake and a carmel pie with buttermilk sorbet~ chef's kiss! It is a beautiful property and they allow you to linger about the grounds after a meal. Highly recommend for food, atmosphere and service.

  Had such a wonderful experience this summer! My family came up to ride and we got what we came for! Our guide, Melinda, was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the history, and how to ride. She did so well with my daughter, who was a little nervous. As a fellow horse rider, I also can really appreciate her little mule. Melinda was kind and patient with her, which is how you have to be with mules. Just overall extremely satisfied with the customer service, views and a wonderful guide!
