  Just had the best experience of my life with Emily and my lovely horse Pepper at Big Red. Emily is a wonderful host, makes you feel like an old friend. We had some great conversations about all things horse. I did the sunset ride (starts around 6.30pm) and shared the ride with a mother & daughter who were not such experienced riders. It was a relaxed ride admiring the scenery and the horses were total saints. We went through creeks and over the vast terrain taking in the views and chatting. Then.. the best bit. Knowing I was an experienced rider, Emily took me back out myself once the others had left for a fast ride up hills, when I say fast, we were flat out galloping! It was the best thing I’ve ever experienced! Pepper was amazing and really stepped it up. I’ve never ridden western but found it came naturally. Whether you’re a competent rider or not, Emily will look after you. But if you really CAN ride, and you’re in Kentucky, this is my number 1 must do activity!!! You won’t get riding like this anywhere else. So glad I did it. Thank you Emily, and Pepper!

  drew was the perfect person to guide us on our ride! he has top tier humor and gave very clear instructions. my family and i came a few years ago in 2020 and have wanted to come back ever since. going through the hills of kentucky on horse back is something that i think everyone needs to experience at least once! such an amazing and beautiful route! thank you drew for giving us such a memorable time out with yall :)

  Drew was able to accommodate a last minute evening ride while I was down here for work. Since I had work during the day I could only come after 4:00pm and they got me on a horse the next day at 5:00. I felt so comfortable and happy on my ride with drew. It’s clear him and his wife are very knowledgeable and responsible ranch owners. It was so beautiful and fun! Very accommodating and kind people! Plus their chatty cat was so cute.

  We had a marvelous time riding with Emily and her beautiful horses. The scenery was amazing on their farm. There was cattle grazing on the hills, mama cows ready to birth and young cows hanging out in the shade. The trails and views were spectacular. This was the best ride we've been on for certain! Thank you Emily!! 🐎 ♥️
