Riding Lessons in Missouri

Missouri riding splits between two worlds: the old, worn-down Ozark Mountains in the south and the river plains along the Missouri and Mississippi. Much of the Mark Twain National Forest sits here, carrying hundreds of miles of multi-use trail open to horses. The guest ranches in this country lean Western, and the wildlife comes with the territory.
