We took a 2 hour trail ride with Wilderness Ridge Adventures. We really enjoyed our ride. The horses were great and easy to ride. Our guide Isabel was super nice, telling us about the area and sharing stories about Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid. Highly recommend!

Beautiful ride and great experience all around! Peter was a great guide and did a good job of making sure we were comfortable and relaxed throughout. We did a 2-hour afternoon ride, and I couldn’t recommend it more. We will definitely be returning!

I thoroughly enjoyed my two hour horseback ride through the gorgeous country just outside Capitol Reef National Park. This is a travel experience that allows you to live inside the scenery most folks only photograph. The guide and hands eagerly share their immense knowledge of horses, area history, geography, culture.... anything you want to know and many things you never considered, providing clients a complete and immersive cultural experience. The horses are well-trained, healthy, well cared for, and loved. I highly recommend this experience for everyone novice to advanced. It will be the highlight of your Utah vacation as it was mine!

This experience was the highlight of my stay at Capital Reef Resort. The guides were local, informative and so good. The 2 hour trail ride was varied, picturesque and perfect. My horse Gunner was a perfect gentleman. I highly recommend taking this ride to experience Utah!
