  Rachel has been training my 9yo daughter Grace for close to a year. This is my favorite after school activity by far. Rachel has taught Grace the basics such as how to groom the horse, how to tack, which boots to buy, and how to care for the horse. Now my daughter can trot with wonderful form in her own private arena. Rachel is a fantastic teacher! Be careful, this is a very addictive experience.

  I have been riding with The Riding Club for close to 6 years now and cannot recommend it enough. Rachel is amazing and the horses are well cared for and loved. I have learned a great deal about both the discipline and horsemanship and can easily attribute my passion for the sport to The Riding Club

  I have been riding ever since I was a little kid and out of my entire riding history, Rachel is my favourite teacher! She has probably taught me the most and had the most confidence in my abilities even when I was unsure of myself and knew exactly how much to push and when to call it a day so that it would never be detrimental to overall progress. I ended up moving away from San Diego for work but still visit to ride because I am certain I can’t find another teacher like Rachel! Also the ponies are the cutest and the absolute best teachers too (in particular Elliot and JP imo). The compound is gorgeous too and Rachel takes wonderful care of her horses. 10/10 would recommend - this is an incredibly special place.

  Such a great place to learn to ride! The horses, ponies, and instructors are all wonderful. We always have lots of fun! Perfect for kids just beginning riding lessons or looking to improve their skills!
