  I recently purchased a horse from Sarah (Second Chance Stable), and she is everything I was looking for in a horse. I couldn't be happier and feel so lucky to have this cute little mare. I've been riding for a long time, but I'm older now. I got bucked off a horse a couple of years ago and lost my confidence. This mare is helping me get it back! She's great on the trail and on the ground. So sweet! My husband even loves her!!! These days it's scary to buy a horse from someone you don't know, but this mare is exactly what Sarah said she was. I'm so happy I took the chance and went and tried her out.

  My husband & I surprised his little girl with riding a horse and the experience was nothing less than extraordinary! Sarah was AMAZING and we had the absolute best time. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

  My husband and I came here for our anniversary. As a first time rider I was really nervous and anxious. But Sarah was so sweet and walked beside me to help me feel comfortable. The horses Moon and Mr Ed were so sweet as well. Definitely recommend coming here 👌

  I will just start by saying the horses were definitely the highlight of the experience. They were sweet, calm and well mannered. We all seemed to be paired well with the horses that were chosen for us. However, I read though the reviews and Im afraid we didnt have the same amazing experience as everyone else. I reached out to Sarah 2 weeks ago to set something up for my daughter's birthday. Her replies that day were pretty short but I figured she mightve just been busy at the time. I finalized a reservation for four at 10am this Saturday. I messaged her yesterday as well to confirm the reservations were still a go. We pull up and were early. I text her and she says she'll be out soon as she wasn't feeling well. Ok, that's fine. Were early anyways. The property is severely unkept. Sarah does come out about 10:10ish. She walked right past us with no greeting. Didn't introduce herself, welcome us or anything. Just walked out the the feild to grab horses. Spent another 20 mins im assuming sattleing them up. We honestly didnt even know if that was her or someone who was boarding thier horse there. Anywho, She finally comes around 10:30 to introduce herself and things start moving foward. She spent more time talking to her cat like a baby but eventually we (myself, husband, son and daughter) get on our horses and take a couple laps around the arena to get comfortable. Cool. Then we head outside. The "scenic" trail ride was 5 laps around her pond and then down the road to the stop sign and back. Did we have fun as a family and share an experience? Yes. Will we go back. No. I appreciate the fact that they are a horse rescue. I think that's great. I also think that if you going to have a business and offer a service, you should present yourself and your establishment in a better light.
