  The owner of Rocking B Ranch (Rose) failed to fulfill a contract for a barn birthday party, which included a bouncy house and trail horse rides. The bouncy house was not inflated, and the owner refused to refund the cost difference. Rose was incredibly rude and hard to deal with. The employees also decided to not fulfill the contract of taking the horses out on trail as contracted previously under the excuse that it was just easier to keep it all on the barn side. Do not use their services. And if you do, good luck getting a hold of them over the phone. Terrible customer service.

  Clean and well managed facility. My 5 year old daughter felt completely safe. We definitely will be coming back for horse riding lessons for the foreseeable future.

  I fondly remember the adventures I shared with my pony in the 1980's. I want my daughter to have some of those same experiences and responsibilities. We cannot afford to keep horses in Alaska, but with Rockin' B Ranch my daughter has been able share the joy of being with horses and gain confidence and responsibility. The maturity and growth my daughter has exhibited since spending time with Rose and her knowledgable staff has been extraordinary. Rose and her staff patiently explain how to work with the animals, what role the different pieces of harness play, how to behave around the horses. They fit the horse to the ability and temperament of the rider and offer ongoing encouragement and increased expectations as skill grows. My daughter loves her time at Rockin' B. And so do I.

  My Son loves the opportunity to attend riding camp, and is especially fond of "Lucky" the horse. I appreciate that camp teaches kids about the responsibilities and care that horses and other farm animals require. It's not all about just getting on the horse, riding and then going home. The facility is beautifully maintained and clean. I highly recommend Rockin' B Ranch for a unique, hands-on experience.
