  We did the 1.5 hour trail ride, we were welcomed by staff that would later be our guides while they were finishing up the mounts. Our group was 7 ranging in ages from 50-65 and the guides made sure we were comfortable before mounting the horses and going on our trail ride. A mounting block was offered and used to make getting in the saddle easier. The instruction offered by the guides was very helpful in ensuring a safe and fun experience! It was a great outing for this group of city slickers and we plan on visiting again in the future!

  We absolutely loved our ride at Palomino Pines this past weekend! Coral and Mie were our guides, and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. Three of the five people in our group had never ridden a horse before and were understandably nervous. Coral and Mie were incredibly patient, taking the time to explain everything, help everyone feel comfortable, and prepare us for any little horse quirks we might encounter along the way. One member of our group was especially uneasy with her horse, and the farm manager went above and beyond to find a better match for her. After that, she felt much more confident, and we were all able to relax and enjoy the ride. The trail through the beautiful Kettle Moraine woods was peaceful, scenic, and truly relaxing. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Even as someone who rides regularly, I found the experience enjoyable and refreshing. I would highly recommend Palomino Pines to anyone looking for a wonderful trail riding experience, whether you're a first-time rider or have years of experience. Even my husband, who isn't really a horse person, thoroughly enjoyed himself—and that's saying a lot! 😊

  Couldn’t have found a more awesome place and group of people to experience my first ever horseback ride tonight! I jumped in as a solo rider on the 3hr trail ride adventure they offer with my new pal Haus. A big ole stubborn horse but overall very well behaved and made the experience just amazing, he did his job well of taking me along for the ride along with teaching me some valuable lessons on control. Such an awesome experience, beautiful summer night to ride around some great trails through the woods going up and down rolling hills, learned a lot, had a ton of fun, and some great conversations with the ladies guiding us along with the couple that was on the ride too. I’m looking forward to some more trail ride adventures with Palomino Pines Horse Ranch, and even some lessons to learn how to truly ride and handle a horse. Absolutely would recommend checking them out and experiencing what they have to offers!

  I started taking riding lessons at Palomino Pines last summer after never having been on a horse before in my life. From day one, the entire barn staff has been incredibly patient, supportive, and encouraging. They’ve helped me grow from a complete beginner into a rider with the confidence to become the owner of not 1, but 2 amazing horses in less than a year. What started as riding lessons quickly became a community and a family. The atmosphere is welcoming, positive, and centered on doing what’s best for both horses and riders. The care, communication, and dedication from everyone at the ranch are second to none. If you’re looking for a place that truly puts horses first while helping riders grow at every stage of their journey, I couldn’t recommend Palomino Pines more highly.
