  We LOVE Pair of Aces. My daughter has been riding with them since she was 4yo. My daughter was so shy when she had her first lesson. Liz taught my daughter how to ride, but she also showed my daughter how to have the confidence she needed to be in charge of the horse she was riding. Almost 10 years later my daughter is riding in shows and jumping. Liz is an amazing trainer. She understands how to push her kids just enough so they can see what they have inside them. The change in my daughter’s confidence after her first lesson showed me how amazing it is for people to have relationships with horses. Add in Liz and your trainer and the combination is something that will propel you into your dreams💙

  I was looking for a riding lessons for my daughter back in 2018. I wanted a place that was centrally located in Reno, locally owned, and safe. I found Liz at Pair of Aces and we have been riding with her (and advancing steadily) ever since. When I first met Liz, I was impressed by how she stressed the importance of safety for my daughter “getting to jump big things“ wasn’t in her future right away. I cannot tell you how happy I was about this. As the years have gone by my daughter has continued to advance and last year got 8th place in Junior Hunter finals national championship! A little girl from Reno, Nevada! It has been five years now and Liz and the team at Pair of Aces Stables have continued to support my daughter. Silver Circle Ranch is a beautiful setting and she enjoys her time there. My daughter will go to college in 18 months, and I am already dreading having to find a place that compares even slightly to the personal touch that Liz gives and the environment at Pair Of Aces, we have thoroughly enjoyed our time, development, and championships!

  Pair of aces is an amazing facility. I have been riding here for a year and a half now and have been learning so much from every lesson. All of the horses are well taken care of and Liz puts so much dedication into each rider’s experience. Best trainer in reno ever!
