  Such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome and introduced to the family. They shared helpful tips with us and provided a brief lesson before we began the trail ride, which made everyone feel comfortable and prepared. Caitlyn and Brinley (apologies if I’ve misspelled their names) were absolutely amazing guides. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the horses, the ranch, and the rich history of the area. We enjoyed great conversation throughout the ride, and since our group was visiting from out of state, they even shared some local food recommendations. They also took photos along the way, helping us capture memories we’ll cherish for years to come. What I loved most was seeing how family-oriented the ranch is. Before we started the trail, the youngest daughter kindly helped me with my horse, and when we returned, she proudly showed us the cutest little bunny she had found. Moments like that made the experience feel even more special and personal. May God continue to bless this beautiful family, their ranch, and the incredible work they do. We are so grateful for the memories made and look forward to visiting again!

  Our ride at New Branch Ranch was the highlight of our trip to New Orleans, and absolutely the most fun I’ve ever had on a commercial trail ride. We scheduled a private ride for our one year anniversary, and were taken through the gorgeous sprawling property on their amazing horses (sending love to Maverick and Rio). The ride was safe, beautiful, friendly, and we even got to trot and lope. On top of the wonderful ride, the ranch is a horse rescue and I loved hearing about the horses’ stories. It’s is evident that they immensely care about their animals, and also love to have fun :-). Thank you Melissa and everyone who helped make that day so special! We can’t wait to come back!!

  I can't recommend this ranch highly enough! From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. What stood out most was how much they genuinely cared, not only about their guests, but also about the horses. The instructors took the time to share each horse's background and personality, which made the experience feel so much more personal and meaningful. The ranch has a wonderful family atmosphere. You can tell the instructors have a deep bond with the horses and with each other, and their passion for what they do shines through in every interaction. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they seemed genuinely happy to be spending time with both the animals and their guests. My group of four had absolutely no previous riding experience, but the instructors made us feel safe, comfortable, and confident from start to finish. They were patient, encouraging, and adjusted everything to our pace, never making us feel rushed or overwhelmed. If you're a first-time or beginner rider looking for a horseback riding experience in the New Orleans area, this is the place to go. It was an unforgettable experience, and we left with great memories and a newfound appreciation for horses. We can't wait to come back!

  Thank y'all so much for the amazing ride today with the beautiful horses and surrounding atmosphere. Guides were so extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They're doing wonderful work with helping these beautiful animals by helping horses who would otherwise be neglected or worse. We will return in the future for sure.
