  I’ve visited this stable three times this year, and every single visit has been worth the nearly two-hour drive. I’ve come by myself and I’ve also brought friends who had never been horseback riding before, and every one of them absolutely loved the experience. What keeps me coming back isn’t just the beautiful horses or the gorgeous trail rides—it’s the people. The sense of community, kindness, and genuine care here is something you can truly feel from the moment you arrive. Lisa, the owner, is one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Her staff and family are just as welcoming, making everyone feel right at home. One thing I especially love is learning about the horses and their stories. Many of them have unique backgrounds, and it’s clear they are deeply loved and cared for. The trail rides are absolutely breathtaking, and every experience here has been peaceful, memorable, and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place to ride where you’ll be treated like family and get to spend time with amazing horses, I highly recommend checking this stable out. Whether you’re an experienced rider or trying horseback riding for the very first time, this is the place to go. You will not regret it!

  Love that most of the horses are rescued and look well taken care of. They had good manners overall. The owner seems very passionate and caring about their welfare. The ride was in a lovely shaded wooded area. We did not see any wildlife but did get to cross a stream and go up and down some hills. The workers also took pictures of everyone before the ride which was a lovely touch. Some of our group got separated from eachother as some horses cut the line at the beginning of the ride (when we were told they were trained not to pass each other lol I understand that they are animals and therefore not perfect). I wish that had been ameliorated so that we could all stay next to our families for the ride. The guide didn't notice it happen, and it was a large group so us at the back did not make a fuss about it.

  The Jordan Hollow Riding Stables in Stanley was amazing! The owner, Lisa, was very kind, and our guide, Messy was experienced and helpful. We were a group of 13, and everyone had a wonderful time. The rides were enjoyable and well organized. There was also a beautiful creek along the way, and the riding trail was peaceful and full of wilderness. Everything felt so natural. We could hear the birds chirping and enjoy the sounds of nature all around us. It was truly one of the most amazing rides I have ever had. I would highly recommend this place to families and friends looking for a great experience.

  I had such a wonderful experience horseback riding here! The horses were beautiful, gentle, and clearly well cared for. Everyone we met was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to our trail lead, who made the ride enjoyable and relaxing. The owner, Lisa, was truly amazing. She was so kind, hospitable, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. Her warmth and passion for the horses really stood out. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and memorable horseback riding experience. I will definitely be coming back!
