Hunters Glen Farms is a trail riding stable in Des Moines. Lessons and training are available on site through CJE Training. Public trail rides and horse rentals are not offered.

I board one horse at HGF and always feel comfortable leaving him in their care! The owner, Jim, is wonderful and gets back to you in a timely manner if you call. He keeps a close eye on all of the horses and is sure to call if there are any concerns. The hay is good, I provide my own grain on pasture board, indoor arena and direct access to trails in Water Works are my favorite parts to this place!

Hunters Glen is a magical place, backing up to acres of beautiful riding. They really do LOVE horses and take such good care of them. Everyone out there is so welcoming and happy to lend a hand when needed.

I took my teen son here last year to learn how to ride a horse. It was his first time and they were so passionate and patient. Just so friendly and incredibly kind people. Thank you for everything you do!!!
