  We were in the Jackson area visiting my brother & I found this online as something fun for us all to do. No one in my family had every rode before besides myself so I really wanted a nice place for them to all have their first horseback riding experience. The staff was very friendly & all around wonderful! We had a group of 5, 2 of which were children ages 10 & 12. They made sure everyone knew what to do & felt comfortable. Our trail guide was very knowledgeable both about the area & all the horses. The trails at the Waterloo Recreation area were very nice & the area was beautiful. The horses had great demeanors and were very well trained. The next time we come out to visit, we'll definitely be coming back. It's obvious that everyone there truly enjoys what they do & are passionate about the horses. This is a must stop for anyone wanting to have a relaxing time or wanting to try something new!

  Our family of 4 did an hour ride. This place is amazing! They're adequately for Covid with their procedures, the staff is very informative and they were awesome with our 6 year old who was very scared for her first solo ride. They gave a short lesson on basics of riding and assisted everyone onto their horses. The riding trails are awesome. We couldn't have had a better time and will definitely be back!!!

  Sherry was such a joy to work with. Very thorough in all aspects. Horses were well cared for. Wranglers we knowledgeable and very friendly. Trails were well maintained. We had a party of 12, for my daughter's birthday. I want to go back in the fall when the keaves start to change colors.

  We LOVED everything about Horse N Around Stables!! Arriving at such a beautiful ranch with a campfire going and seeing how wonderfully the horses are treated, we were really blown away (my husband and I loved Nugget & Cody, who happened to be stall mates!). We're already planning our next trip out! Thank you to the wranglers and Sherri, you do such an amazing job! xo
