  My daughter has been riding here for 2yrs! She does the summer camp, takes lessons once a week and apprentices for Guilford Riding School! She is very devoted to what she does and Jill is an amazing instructor and knows my daughters potential and guides her in her lessons and time at the barn. The growth we've seen in our daughter has been amazing! All of the workers, teachers and Jill and Dale are absolutely amazing and take the time with each rider to help them grow and understand the horses! The barn is always so up kept and clean and the horses are always being groomed, fed snacks of course and well taken care of between vet checks, their proper medicine, stall cleans, grooming, baths etc! Absolutely would recommend Guilford Riding School to anyone with a passion. They bring you in like family!

  After 30 years I got back in the saddle for the summer session. Jill was a fantastic instructor who taught so much more about horses than just riding. She taught the mechanics of the horse, and how we as riders can train them to be better athletes while training ourselves. The horses were lovely as were the grounds and riding rings. Just a great experience!

  The last time I was on a horse was 40 years ago. Jill is very patient with me as a new rider. As is angel the horse i get to work with. This is a Life dream to be back on a horse so therapeutic!!

  My daughter rode here for 4 years until we moved out of state. This place is the real deal, Jill is awesome, the kids are kind, and the horses are full of character 😊. Thanks you GRS and all of the volunteers and staff to help make my daughter Sages riding experience fun and exciting, and for all of her growth as a young rider.
