  We took a ride up to get some information about trail riding. Very nice facility. Clean and people are friendly. Trials look nice! Will be coming back often once the weather cools down.

  Very nice horse place but the sad thing is that the passaic county sheriff office owns half of the property from the horses and their is a portable toilets near by the building

  After almost 14 years without riding, I recently got back into horseback riding — and I’m so glad I found this amazing school! The place is beautiful, the team is kind and highly professional, and my instructor, Rebecca, is exactly what I needed to regain my confidence. She’s patient, knowledgeable, and truly supportive. I genuinely enjoy every lesson and couldn’t have asked for a better experience getting back in the saddle!

  We had a fantastic experience with Garret Mountain Equestrian Center! We initially visited Van Saun Park for a pony ride for our 3-year-old daughter on a rainy Saturday, but found it closed due to weather. Fortunately, we happened to meet Franco (the owner/manager) there. He was incredibly kind and told us about his other location just 20 minutes away, which is this place. Although the schedule was already full for the day, Franco went out of his way to squeeze us in. He even personally guided the pony alongside our daughter during her ride, which made the experience extra special. She absolutely loved it, and we were so touched by how thoughtful and accommodating Franco was. Thanks to Franco, what could’ve been a disappointing day turned into a magical memory. We’re so grateful and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable pony riding experience. We’ll definitely be back!
