  I can’t say enough good things about this stable! After speaking with Alison in length about being able to check off my 86 year old father’s bucket list to get on a horse again and go for a ride, we did it this morning.The entire staff was so very friendly and helpful with helping him on and off the horse and cheered for him when we finished the ride. The safe and positive environment is wonderful and the location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, we will definitely go back and look forward to taking a half day ride.THANK YOU !! again to everyone at Fourth Rock you made a 86 year old Veteran and horse lovers day.

  During a short stint in NC I deciding I wanted to go horseback riding and found Fourth Rock because “the price was right”, basically. I had low expectations, to say the least, as I tend to be a skeptic and figured it was going to be the bottom of the barrel because of the affordability. BOY, WAS I BLOWN AWAY! Between the beauty of the property and care for the horses to the kindness and approachability of the staff, everything was perfection. I had such a good time..I booked again two days later! Definitely pop in and ride with Chuck, Libby and Emily. If you can’t get in touch right away, don’t fret! They’re actually probably out on the farm. Leave a message and they’ll get back to you. Real mom and pop shop function over there ❤️

  Great experience the staff was so friendly and kind to me and my husband they made it extra special for us and even got us in on short notice. It’s great for beginners they give you a nice lesson on how to ride before you start the trail. We will be definitely be coming back. They are also great with kids and help them on the trail. Really such an amazing place. They even gave me a keepsake for my first time horseback riding.

  Absolutely amazing! My husband and I were first time riders and they made it easy to understand. The horses are so well trained you barely have to do anything and the owners and workers are wonderful! 100% recommend!!!
