  What a hidden gem for horse lovers! Samantha is an incredible horse woman with a beautiful facility for riding lessons. We were impressed by her willingness to fit our 9 year old in last minute, the beauty of the surroundings, her professionalism, and her teenage son who assisted on trail rides. We even loved being greeted by her welcoming committee of dogs and peacocks! We will definitely be back next time we’re on the Big Island.

  Best equestrian experience of our lives! We are suburbanites that enjoy trail riding with horses on vacation. This time we decided to try something different and get an actual lesson rather than a boring head to butt ride. Samantha and her family are amazing! Helpful, kind, and you can tell they really love each other and the horses. Her arena and pasture are beautiful, and the drive to her property is a scenic wonderland. I highly recommend Samantha if you plan to visit the Big Island of Hawaii!

  This place is great! They don’t just throw you on a horse and send you down a trail, but actually teach you about the animals, their nature, and how we can better communicate with them. You then get to see a lava flow from horseback which is a cool perspective. The staff are great teachers and seems to love their jobs and the animals. I would certainly come back. In the meantime, pet the dogs for us if you go 😉 Also, if you are from out of town, the Airbnb on site is a great experience as well.

  Great experience! Lots of knowledge that was useful. Horses are wonderful- healthy, well trained. Would recommend without hesitation. Gorgeous setting.
